Summary: Just what the doctor ordered
Comment: The EEE Box PC is ideal for our home office. It boots fast and connects to our networks naturally. No issues with setup. The only down side is the lack of an optical drive (easily corrected with a USB optical drive) and the lack of USB ports by the time you connect the keyboard, mouse and external optical drive. We mounted it on the back of the LCD monitor, one of the supported installations, and the result is a clean desk.

Comment: I bought this mini-PC to connect to my LCD flat panel TV in living room. The small form factor is perfect, and it mounted easily to the VESA mount on the back of the TV to hide it neatly out of the way. The system performs exactly as you would expect it to. I stream movies from Netflix to the EeePC, and they play flawlessly on the TV. Cute keyboard and mouse were an unexpected bonus. I added a PS3 wireless keyboard/mouse combo (which hides away under the sofa when I'm not using it). Great system for what it is.

Summary: The Eee Box is eeexcelent
Comment: I needed a small computer for the kitchen counter to hook up to a 19" flat panel TV. This little wonder works great right out of the box, and takes up very little counter space. Whats best is that it runs on XP rather than Vista. The Eee connects via wireless or wire to your modem/router. The mouse and Keyboard are a little small, but definitely much better than trying to use a notebook pc keyboard.

Comment: Anyway, this PC doesn't occupy my desk so much and very reqsonable.
I knew the performance of this PC is far from excellent one befor the order. But it's enough for me since I'm not such a user who requires high specification PC. I can make a document and can enjoy internet browsing, so I'm saticified with this for my purpose.

Summary: Amazing little box
Comment: Seems like Asus is again a market leader. this product is so small, so smart, so simple that it set a new standard for home computing. If you are a gamer or high end graphical user this is not your cup of tea. However, for purpose like internet browsing, office, data server, downloading torrents and even multimedia streaming it works pretty well.
thru the years i had many machines from the Sinclair thru Apple 2E and 386/486/pentium PC's. This little gadget pc is just awsome. grab while you can. For the guys in Asus I say - good work (BTW, I am waiting for my commission check).
